I love pork. They say it is the other white meat. It is versatile. There are a million ways to cook pork. AND...IT IS BACON. Enough said.
When my kids were little my sister-in-law raised three pigs at her Summer Camp...we bought one - his name was Bacon. THAT..is our sense of humor.
This weekend is the weekend of the pig at Biggest Little Life. Enjoy.

I found this recipe years and years ago in a Cooking Light magazine. It is my go to pork chop - always. Today, I substitute mashed cauliflower for the potatoes. But - smother anything in a beautiful whiskey gravy like this and people will devour it. Yum. Find the recipe HERE
It doesn't get much better than the glorious smell of sizzling pork sausage in the morning. It isn't something that most people think of making themselves. I'm here to tell you to DO IT! It is really very easy and the result is fresh and flavorful. It is so much better than the over processed and preservative laced commercial brands. You can make it sweeter with more sugar or spicer with more cayenne. I make it in batches and freeze it. Find the recipe HERE

I am in love with "anti-California" or unoaked Chardonnay. This type of Chardonnay is aged in stainless steel instead of oak barrels. This produces a mild fruit flavor that is clean and naked and without the buttery oak flavor. Perfectly paired with the Roasted Pork Roast with Mustard & Rosemary - above.
